Client: London Borough of Havering

Location: Romford

Status: Completed

The scheme involves the demolition of disused council owned garages at the end of Mowbrays Close and their replacement with a proposed two storey, fully wheelchair accessible residential development. The project provides supported living accommodation for young adults with disabilities, comprising six self contained one bedroom units with associated staff and communal facilities to enable 24 hour support. The design promotes a safe and supportive living environment.

External works include the provision of four car parking spaces, including one accessible bay, secure cycle storage, and a communal garden with soft landscaping, allotment planters, and a dedicated sensory garden.
